A perfect example of this was the Friday the 13th remake, the deaths weren't even that gory at ALL, but since there were nipple scenes.... BOOM RATED R! Also the friday the 13th movie remake kinda sucked too... -_-

O ya, and i saw some nipples in a movie that wasn't' rated R, Avatar! If you look closely and Zoe Saldanas boobies, the nipples are slightly exposed, but not fully so i guess thats why Avatar got its PG-13 rating.

Speaking of sexual things in movies, if you watch the scene in the Lion King where Simba's father falls and dies in a stampede, the cloud of dust spells out "SEX" if you look carefully, and that movie was rated G!

Also in the Little Mermaid, at the end when whats her name is getting married to the other dude, the priest has a boner! Im not making this up! go see the movie again! or for the first time!

Yeah but remember non-closeup nudity is allowed in most films. The ratings depict the mature content in a film, not how flimsy and see-through your clothing are. Notice, on TV the requirements are much stricter. Yet on any special celebrity event, you see stars wearing clothing that consists of one thin layer and no undergarments.

I don't know if you've seen. But enough light filters through those clothes to give you the psychological imprint of a naked woman. Also i've seen may instances in which photoshop users can take the light filtering through, and filter it out into a nude image.

TL;DR skimpy clothing= a subconscious image of the person naked
