No it's true, in World War 1 we decided not to be part of the treaty of Versaille because America thought the consequences were too harsh.
So in World War 2, we told the other countries to not make the consequences too harsh either otherwise it would have been a never ending loop hole. Of course Russia fucked that up when they split the country in 2.
