Just wondering if anyone else got Halo reach and if they did, i was wondering if they could add me over xbl/ or gimme their gt, seeing as my gt got hacked and i lost everyone on my friends list. So far, ive been playin with Toast and Sparky and a few friends from school

Reach is even shorter than Halo 3 somehow. I rented it for $7 bucks and still felt ripped off.

I don't know how anyone could buy it for $70 and live with themselves for wasting so much money that could be used for infinitely better games. Or you know, something actually worth buying.

Well what are your expectations for for how long singleplayer should be when it has multiplayer, and its on a console (mask disk space the xbox 360 has is about 8 gigs).
Halo Reach took about 3 years to make (About 1.5 years in pre-production)
Its not a bad game, although compared to PC gaming i think that it doesn't look so great.

Now this confuses me. The only thing that made halo 3 fun was forge + custom games. Making a map in halo 3 was easy, but was very clunky, and in order to impress people with your map you had to do a bunch of annoying glitches that take for ever to do. Halo 3's campaign was disappointing and the matchmaking was ok. Halo Reach has way more to offer then Halo 3, a better campaign, loads more of characters customization, way better forge.

I really don't want to start a flame war here, so i'll just say now that I dont care what you have to think about reach. All i want to know is if you have it.

Honestly, idgaff if it's short. Really, I don't. The Halo story is probably one of the most interesting and amazing game stories, imo. You can tell by playing it there's thought put behind it. The only thing that makes it gay is the 12 yr olds that play multiplayer and ruin its reputation. Halo and the Elder Scrolls series are my two favorite stories because they have the best replay value. Sure, Halo isn't a rpg, but it' still fun.
I'm sick and tired of people say "bah it's gay >:(" when they haven't even fucking played it. All they hear are stories that say "OMG TIS SO GAY... YOU SHOULDNT PLAY IT BUT ANYONE WHO DOES YOU SHOULD CALL GAY CAUSE THEY ARE"

Same thing with consoles. I fucking love the 360 as much as I love my PC.

That's my opinion on Halo and I'm not changing it.

To be honest, Reach looks great but I can't be bothered to spend about 50 quid on it.
Halo 2 is still by far the best in my opinion, but seeing as I haven't tried Reach I can't judge for sure.

Admittedly matchmaking is quite fun. Excluding the community, Halo is actually a really, really good game. It has balanced weaponry, chaotic-but-easy to follow gameplay and some really fun gamemodes. But then add the millions of squeaky children pretending like their old enough to drink and smoke and it's pretty much ruined.

Hell, even with my settings set to Quiet, Polite and playing for a Good Time I still came across dumbshits going "LOLOLOL MLG PROOOO" constantly.

Reach's campaign was short as fuck, which is dissapointing, because it was fun. Yeah I got owned, but that's because I hadn't played Halo since Halo 3 came out. It was still fun, it just doesn't feel long enough to warrant me dropping $70 on it.

And the story is ruined by all the 11 year olds that seem to jerk off every time the word "spartan" is uttered, and have generic Master Chief icons that pollute Xbox Live like the goddamn plague.

Although I do have reach I don't have live You could still add me I suppose RedRupture is my XBL
