Official [ƒcƒc] Event thread!

Okay i think its about time we actually get active. There were a lot of vote threads lately, mostly ending up in people wanted clan events. Lets make it happen.

What i Propose:

Every Friday night, we have a game night. Simply the whole clan will come on the servers and play for a bit. Just a fun get together.
Each night we could add different elements to make it interesting.

Examples:
Competitions for points (races, deathruns, betting, exploding melon rounds, team maps such as deathball or some of taters maps...with he boxes and the stairs...., etc)
Themed nights (all deathrun, old school maps, everything grayscale, those maps no one ever plays)
Sports? (tennis with a giant ball, everyone has uberpush)
On whatever else we can come up with.

This also doesn't have to only be ZM. we could all play any other game together, but simply we need to be active.

We have to become less of a community, and more of an actual clan.

I want every single member to try and post here. From this day on, we will never feel like we do now again. The words dead will only be followed by laughter. But we all need to try. We shall climb from this pit of lethargy and doom, on a ladder made of ourselves, holding each other up.

Going to make a long story long here. ƒcƒc is like K-On. (yes, comparing it to an anime, deal with it) If you watched it, you'll understand. If not, bear with me. Its fun having new members and all, but its honestly more fun with just us. Though, to me, the current members aren't even that close. Its kinda like me and the old-old fags running around playing different games together. (me, wil, indigo, blue, psycho sometimes). Then there's the new-old fags (idaho, aku, acid/v), hanging out on ZM still.

Basically, yes. I hardly see anybody 'old' on anymore. So yeah. And events every Friday is a bad idea because it's scheduled. Usually (imo) scheduled events are never successful. Also, note that everytime you want an event (basically) you need to be Indigo.

regardless, mnore people will go on, and it at least gives us some organization, rather than just, play whatever whenever.

Anyways, I like the initiative Idaho is taking for this clan! It shows he cares a lot for [ƒcƒc] and we don't need the presence of old members to rejuvenate this clan.

i forgot what topic i read it. but you dont need root admins to have fun. We didnt have root admins, and only one single level 3 admin (Pink, no one else.) when this clan started.
Oh and back then the level 3's didn't even remotely have that many commands available.

Sammy added them later, and Indigo started coding on and added even more later then.

And we had the best fun ever, even with the limited commands Pink had.
psssst. It was the people that made it so amazing. Blue, Red, Pink, Nunia, Fucia, Ruby, Chrome, L33t_W33d, many more.

Oh and don't get this wrong, please. This forum+clan here has awesome new people, just as well. And I'm happy to see you guys going active. And will have just as much fun as we had it, hopefully.

Yea a Deathrun night sounds good! lets keep it gong ALL NIGHT for the lulz, and we can get lotsa people on. We could also make it more interesting by making round where a team can win double points by carrying a badmelon with them the entire map :P tried it before, was fun.

These events have been kind disappointing for me so far... 1st one was set when I had to sleep, and deathrun... no additional comment. How about a long story maps only - event next time?

if you guys want events that need prior work first, like copying deathrun maps to normal servers.
You should give me and Cherry a chance to do that in advance, when we have the time (and nerves) for it.
And not right on friday night when you guys want to play.
So go and make a decision early, and inform me about it. Or Cherry if you don't want to talk to me.

Soooo Fischi. Deathrun maps are boring, most of the times. But then, something you didn't have for quite some amount of time.
Well, that something, even if it's boring, can become quite interesting for a little while.

Maybe you are aware of that, and can get over yourself. For the event+clan sake.

Objective maps event sounds good too. We could show them newfag members some map objectives even.
And they wouldn't have to learn to read or even learn to press F1 on their own. So everyone would have fun, especially me.

ITS TIME FOR AN EVENT! NOT JUST ONE EVENT, LOTSA EVENTS!!!


Heres how it will work, over the course of March break, every day, is party all day, all night, 24/7, with whoever whenever, starting NOW!

March 14th- nothing
March 15th- ZM with a spice! Ill be on all day adding little awesome twists to deathrun maps, with extra points for completing them!
March 16th- Killing floor night!
March 17th- SOURCE DAY! Source games all day, CS:S, ZM, HL2DM, Empires, and DOD:S!
March 18th- Vindictus night! dont got it? get it!
March 19th- FINAL ZM PARTY!!!! ALL DAY ALL NIGHT ZM AWESOMENESS bring your dj's
