Just out of curiosity, what kind of equipment do you use to make your mixes?

Ha, my friend has the same exact mixer you have. I was thinking about getting a little small mixer like that one, but this DJ school I go to teaches us using truntables and vinyl records. I could still get a smaller mixer and practice with it, but i decided to keep it old school or w/e and use vinyls. Only problem is that Direct Drive turntables cost a fortune..

2 turntables and a mixer costs around 500-1000$, which to me is pretty expensive. I saw the NS6 at Guitar center once, played around with it for awhile, its pretty nice.

I usually get creative when I'm bored. (and tired)
Traktor Pro 2 is probably the best thing I've ever spent my money on.

As for production, I usually dick about in FL Studio. Haven't bothered trying to learn Reason and I've never heard of Sibelius. Tried Abelton and ended up uninstalling it after an hour. It's a complete nightmare to re-learn.
