Clan Events

Before reading this post, I would refer to this post made by Pink about the clan's revised application process.

Now, I've been in many clans and the ones that worked had a solid memberlist(obviously), but also had many events in which strengthened what the clan was all about. Pink said we might open clan invitations in Gmod. But I'm light of that fact, we want these new recruits to stay(the awesome ones at least).

And what better way to do it than organize clan events. We have fun get-togethers and the clan isn't stale and boring so eventually members just don't care. We want people to care about what ƒcƒc is all about.

I'm hoping for everyone's opinion on this.

Clan events would be a good idea, only problem is almost all of the new members don't use the forums, and I'm assuming that clan events would be posted here. Unless we messages members over steam or through the steam group, then the turn out would be good

Isn't being an active forum member a clan member's responsibility?

The problem with this idea is that not all players have all the games for a clan event.
For example, if we were to open recruiting to gmod, and then have clan events, and let's say the planned event was on gmod, then not all players would be able to attend and then feel left out of then clan.
Why this example? Because it's already happened to me before.

I think the clan events should be held ON the servers. This way, we're not waiting for players. Then, on the steam group [ƒcƒc], we'll post an announcement at that very moment.

maybe then we should implement the forum calender plugin..

I think that there should be clan events!
Just getting on Sammy's Server as a group or something would be nice.

I was hoping more of using the Steam page to plan event, since it's far more easier to use. But that would mean we would have to kick out all non-clan members and make it private, but I think we were already discussing that in the revised app process.
